I am so happy you are here. My name is Kendall Parsons, I’m 22 years old and located in the beautiful state of Tennessee! I grew up outside of Nashville surrounded by nature and animals, especially my precious pup, Abbie. I really love Mexican food, honestly I love all food, but especially Mexican. I adore animals and I love flowers. I wear a lot of Free People clothes and I can spot someone wearing the brand from a mile away.
Anyways, here’s my story.
I have loved art for as long as I can remember. In elementary school I would take art classes from a lady named Ms. Trish down the road every week she changed the color of her hair every week, and I think I was most excited to see what color it would be when I went back. Middle school and high school classes just weren’t my thing, but I found a sanctuary in Art House, thanks Ms. Dunn. I took as many art classes as I could during that time because it brought me joy during a day of classes that I wasn’t the best at. My freshmen year of high school I got my first DSLR, and man I took some terrible pictures, but we all start somewhere! My sophomore year I decided to enter a travel photo competition in The Tennessean, and after a couple weeks I found out I won second place.
My junior year of high school I took my first photography class, which is when I fell in love with film, and the dark room. Back then I never pictured photography becoming as big of a part of my life as it has, but I got hired for my first engagement shoot, one thing led to another and I began to realize this is all I wanted to do. I created my business, Kendall Parsons Photography, and never looked back.
Now here we are.
Many years of art classes later.
Many ideas of what I wanted to be when I grew up later.
I am so lucky to get to do what I love every day, meet the greatest people, and create art along the way.
Preserving wild, genuine, intimate love.
Lets get lost.
